  • ​​​Women's Enrichment Ministry

Simulcast: Sisters, we are excited about the upcoming Simulcast event featuring Priscilla Shirer live on Saturday, April 8th. We will be extremely blessed with the opportunity to collectively witness a life changing experience with other sisters in our local area. Check-in begins at 7:30am. The Simulcast begins promptly at 10:00am and ends at 5:30pm. Please join the Simulcast Prayer Team in fasting and prayer each Wednesday from 6am-6pm as we pray for this event. Please pray for Priscilla's prayer request in the areas of: 1) her alignment with God's priority and 2) Revelation from God's Word, 1 Kings 5. Sisters come prepared and ready for a full day of Worship and teachings. Please note: There will be NO walk-ins the day of the event.

Sip and Paint - we will be hosting a Sip and Paint event at the Legacy Center on Friday, April 21st from 7-10 pm. We will be sippin on iced tea and painting masterpieces together! All ladies ages 12 and up are welcome to attend. There is a non-refundable fee of $15.00 per person due by April 14th. Attention Senior Ladies of Kettering Baptist Church - The Women's Enrichment Ministry will be hosting a trip to the Sight & Sound Theatres to see the show Jonah on Thursday, September 21st. Mark your calendars! More information is forthcoming. 

  • AYA: Feasting on the Word Power Hour

Attention Alive Young Adults. Get ready for our Feasting on the Word Power Hour study as we cover world issues and God's remedies, beginning today, Sunday, March 26th from 9:45am – 10:45am. Our first 6 weeks will cover Spiritual Formation. We are Alive in Christ.

  • Honey the Truth is…

Kettering’s Seasoned Saints will have another opportunity to minister through the skit, “Honey, The Truth Is…” this Tuesday, March 28th at 1pm at The Lodge of Marlton, 9590 Crain Hwy, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. Through this presentation our Saints will demonstrate that God has a purpose for His Saints even at an older age. Come, bring a friend and join us.

  •  Lost and Found

Unclaimed items such as Bibles, hats, scarfs, gloves, eye glasses and miscellaneous jewelry, left here at the Legacy Center, will be on display in Room 174 and can be reclaimed today after each service.

  •  Senior Safety Seminar

There will be a free Senior Safety Seminar at Kettering Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 29th from 12noon to 1:30pm. The Prince Georges County Sheriff’s Office will facilitate the seminar and will be sharing with us insight and expertise on different ways to keep our precious seniors safe in terms of identity theft, their physical safety, and how to avoid scams aimed at seniors. The seminar will be very helpful to seniors, their care-givers, their families, and to anyone who is concerned about the safety of seniors. POC: Minister Larry Camper at 301-249-8119.   

  • Children’s Ministry

Let’s go fly a kite!  Join the Children’s Ministry as we attend the Blossom Kite Festival, competitions and demonstrations of a variety of kites, on April 1st.  This event is open to children ages 5 to 12.   The cost is $10.00 which includes a kite given to each child to fly on the public field and lunch.  All children should arrive at the church at 8:45am to decorate their kites before departure from the church promptly at 9:15am; we will return at 2pm.  You may register your child and obtain the necessary permission slip online through tomorrow, March 27th by clicking here.   • Calling all youth ages 12-17

Starting April 23rd, we will be having a 4 week class on, “How to Build Strong Friendships” by Karen Dockery. This class is $5 per person. Please bring your $5 to class with you. In this class, we will look at: “What Makes Healthy Relationships”; “Balancing Close Friendships and Broader Relationships”; “Balancing Friendships Between Christians and Non-Believers”; and “Distinguishing Between Real and Fake Loyalty”.   • Church Tours

For the months of March and April, the building tours schedule is Mondays and Fridays at 11:15am. If you are interested in participating in a tour, please call the Church Office and provide your name, phone number, email address, and the date (Monday or Friday) that you would like a tour; confirmation of requests will be made within 24 hours.   • Health and Wellness Ministry

Don’t sit on your gift! Join the Health and Wellness Ministry in providing support and health related education to our Kettering congregation. Whether you are a healthcare provider (Nurse, MD, EMT, Paramedic) or just like to help those in need, we would love to have you. CPR and ACLS are not required but are a huge plus.

  • Men’s Choir

CALLING ALL MEN!  Come be a part of our Men’s Choir.  We are looking for men with a song in their heart and the desire to be a part of a growing ministry.  Join us for a wonderful worship experience as we lift the name of Jesus through the Music Ministry.
