  • 48th Church Anniversary and Revival Services

 In celebration of Kettering Baptist Church’s 48th Anniversary we will be having revival services at 7pm this Wednesday, October 18th (Pastor Patrick J. Walker),  Senior Pastor, The New Macedonia Baptist Church).  Please join us for a time of worship and praise to give God glory for all He has done for us. 

The Anniversary Ministry invites the entire Kettering Baptist Church Family to continue in our 48th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 28th from 4pm - 7pm for Comedy Night.   • ​WEM Women's Conference

The WEM will be hosting their 2017 Women's Conference on Saturday, October 21st from 9am – 3pm. “Lord Teach us to Reflect Your Image as We Pass a New Way”, Galatians 5:16-26. This conference includes excellent speakers, conference materials and boxed lunch. All ladies are welcome to attend. The cost is $25 (non-refundable).   • Mass Choir Rehearsal

  • Sweet Spirit Night

Calling all children and youth! On Tuesday, October 31st from 6:30-8:30pm, you’re invited to Sweet Spirit Night where children (17 and under) can come together for a blessed and safe fellowship with games, moon bounces, face painting, hot dogs, chips and drinks and of course candy.  Costumes are permitted, just no scary costumes. Invite your friends!

  • Men’s Ministry

“The Huddle” – Come join us on Friday, November 3rd at 7pm as we discuss issues that affect us as men. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says “therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” Come to be an encouragement and to receive encouragement.   •  ​Children’s Ministry

 Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to the 9th Annual American Indian Festival on Saturday, October 21st at Patuxent River Park in Prince George’s County. Your child will learn about the culture of Native Americans through music, dancing, drumming, storytelling, Native crafts and games!  The cost is $20.00 which includes lunch, pony ride and a basket craft (money may be given to purchase other items or souvenirs).   • Manna Ministries Community Development Corporation (MMCDC)

 MMCDC announces its sixth (6th) Annual Gifts of Hope program for the Upper Marlboro, Kettering and Baltimore communities. Our goal this year is to    continue to impact families within our schools and communities and we need your help to do so! In keeping with our mission, we expanded our program offerings by reaching out to local schools to provide Christmas donations to families in need of support for the upcoming holiday season. If you would like to adopt a child or a family, please fill out a form (located on the foyer table or our website) and return it by Monday, October 30th. You may also make donations to Manna Ministries at any time by visiting us at www.mannacdc.org.

  • Quarterly Business Meeting

 We encourage all Kettering Baptist Church members to make a special effort to attend our Quarterly Business Meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd following the 11am service. These meetings are very informative and will give you an in-depth understanding of the inflow and disbursement of funds, and ministry activities and needs, as well as an update on our new building.

  •  Church Calendar Planning Meeting

¨All Church Council members or representatives are expected to be present at the 2018 Calendar Planning taking place Saturday, October 28th at 9am. Please be prepared to be flexible with the dates, and to have alternative dates available.

  • Prison Ministry Volunteer Training

Good News Jail and Prison Ministry is providing training on Saturday, November 4th from 9:30am - 3:30pm for Volunteers (men and women) to come into the Prince Georges County Correctional Center and conduct Bible Study with the inmates.
