Ministry In The Spirit Of Excellence
This is our first time celebrating Women’s Day at the Legacy Center. Let’s bless the Lord with our participation by worshipping and singing in the Women’s Day Choir on Sunday, June 11th at the 8am and 11am services. We are asking ladies to wear shades of pink for this event: "Passing a New Way". Women’s Day Choir Rehearsal dates are at 7pm this Tuesday, May 23rd, Thursday, June 1st and Tuesday, June 6th.
Women's Revival - Sisters of Kettering, join us for our Women's Revival on Thursday and Friday, June 8th and 9th at 7pm. Our theme is, "Sisters Being Transformed in Christ as We Pass a New Way", Romans 12:2. Our guest speaker each night will be Chrystal Hurst of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Dallas, Texas. We encourage each of you to begin praying for her as she prepares to minister to us in the spirit of excellence, and also for yourself, asking God to transform you to be more like Him. Join in with us and invite your friends to come along! We look forward to seeing you there!
Attention Senior Ladies of Kettering Baptist Church - The WEM will be hosting a trip to the Sight & Sound Theatres to see the show Jonah on Thursday, September 21st. Mark your calendars! The non-refundable full payment of $65 per person will be collected in-person on Sundays, May 21st and June, 4th following each service in Room 104.
Purpose: To meet the spiritual needs of the women (of all ages) at Kettering Baptist Church, by coming along side of them in their times of need and through the use of God’s Word, fellowships, conferences, prayer, accountability and intercession.
Vision: To see the lives of women encouraged and changed through God’s word, to come along side (parakletos) to support and the various activities scheduled for them.
This ministry is designed for women who have a God given gift, passion and calling to extend themselves in love to provide lay counsel, encouragement, support and spiritually structured guidance through God’s word to the women of Kettering to facilitate their enrichment and spiritual growth.
Those thus involved will need to be minimally involved in other areas of ministry, as this vital ministry will require extensive passion and involvement.
The Ministry is based on Ephesians 4:16 and Proverbs 11:14.
